I knew that I wanted to go into broadcasting and entertainment. I studied radio broadcasting and developed as a music DJ, my career that I enjoy. I also organise my own events, people attending those events also wanted me to play for them at wedding, birthday parties etc until I was talent spotted by Conscious radio.

“Look back, give back and make the difference”
However, throughout my successes I always remember where I came from. It wasn’t easy growing up in Guyana when I was there and it still isn’t. So, I decided to do something to help the young people back in my community back home.

Education is one of the most important things that you can give to a child. So I collected, pens, pencils, reading books, rucksacks, math books, exercise books, the list goes on and filled a barrel on my first trip back to George Town all at my own expense.

Children aged 4 to 15 all received something to further their education and I am proud to continue this help for the children of Guyana. I am sending more barrels this year, if you want to help just contact me

I would like to donate to your worthy cause.
I’m m very impressed with you Mr Marlon. You’re one of the few people who don’t just talk, you go out of your way to make it possible.
Keep up the good works.
